Margie Gayle, Psy.D., will lead participants through an enriching and experiential introduction into the role the body plays in our emotional lives. This workshop will answer your questions as to why the therapist needs to bring the body of the client into the therapeutic session. Dr. Gayle will also demonstrate tools to stay connected to your own body voice as you explore the body voice of your client. She will weave anecdotes about the rich history of body psychotherapy. By the end of this workshop, you will be more connected to your own body voice, and will understand the vital role the body plays in helping yourself and clients make profound shifts and transformations.
