In this workshop we will take an intense look at how the body responds when we take responsibility for the well-being of others by trying to stabilize and fulfill their needs. With this pattern we abandon and sabotage ourselves, as well as those we try to "fix." We will uncover the effects of this style, which we call "agency," upon intimate relationships and sexuality. Agency causes your body to contract, activating feelings of betrayal, isolation and invisibility. It extinguishes feelings of mutuality, vitality, well-being and constancy. Trying to change this behavior through willpower or the mind alone tends to only worsen the problem. Insights and techniques for transforming your inner relationship with yourself and your relationships with others in your life will be taught for immediate implementation.
